655 Miles in 14 hours
Its amazing what you can do after drinking four redbulls. I arrived back home to the boro this morning at 6 am after a 15 hour journey to Indianapolis and back. Why? To see one of the best bands currently touring the country.Yesterday afternoon Shaun, Michelle and myself left murfreesboro at around 3 in the afternoon and drove 5 hours to Indianapolis. We saw this sign on the way there, some of you may have even seen it before.
We got to the show at the Murat Theater, which is great by the way, and had a blast. It was only afterwards that we each realized the imminent exhaustion which we were about to endure. So what do you do when you're driving and tired? Roll the windows all the way down, blast some music and drink lots of redbull.
When we finally reached murfreesboro, the fog was so thick that we drove 40 mph down I-840. I slept until 2 pm, and decided that unless I wanted to start living vampire hours, I better wake up and stay up until tonight.
Anybody wanna get together and party tonight?
I wish I was at the Widespread panic Show. No Energy. Need sleep. Need Gin and Tonic.oh yeah . . . roll tide.
